The Research Support Central Complex (Complexo de Centrais de Apoio à Pesquisa - Comcap) motivates and fosters the development of multidisciplinary research. Its implementation began with the creation of the Center for Advanced Analysis of Materials, with the aim of consolidating research activities in the areas of New Materials, Agroindustrial Technology and Environmental Technology. The complex also includes the centers for: Structural and Molecular Biology; Documentation; Natural Products; Microscopy; Agricultural and Agribusiness; Studies on Global Changes; and Health Technology. All of the Comcap’s equipment structure is available to researchers and graduate students. It can also be used by companies through projects focused on technological development or technological service.
