The Technological Innovation Center (Núcleo de Inovação Tecnológica - NIT) promotes the inclusion of the State University of Maringá (Universidade Estadual de Maringá - UEM) in the innovation process, nationally and worldwide, contributing to the improvement of society’s quality of life, wealth creation and sustainable development, based on science and technology. Therefore, NIT manages the technology transfer and the institutional policy for intellectual property, aiming at the university’s interaction with the external sector - companies, for instance.
