Languages and Literature Graduate Program

The Languages and Literature Graduate Program (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras – PLE) is comprised of systematically organized studies and research activities. The aim of the Program is the education and improvement of high-level professionals capable of taking part in education and research activities concerning teaching, description and use of language, and the production, reception and circulation of literature in a space that integrates linguistic and literary studies. Its general purpose is to train qualified researchers to promote the production of knowledge in their concentration areas. The Program has received score 5 in the evaluation of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – CAPES).
