Professional Graduate Program in Languages

The Professional Graduate Program in Languages (Programa Profissional de Pós-Graduação em Letras - ProfLetras) is a stricto sensu graduate course that counts on the participation of public higher education institutions within the scope of the Open University System of Brazil (Sistema Universidade Aberta do Brasil- UAB). The Program has its national coordination at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). The aim of the program, in the medium term, is training elementary school Portuguese teachers throughout the national territory.
The target audience of Profletras embraces teachers from all graduate generations of undergraduate courses in Languages and who teach the Portuguese language in elementary school.
