Nursing Graduate Program

The Nursing Graduate Program (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Enfermagem - PSE) aims to prepare qualified personnel for higher education and research activities with the purpose of training researchers, professors and nurses who may contribute to the excellence of care practices from a critical, methodical, communicational, sociopolitical and technical point of view engaged in health promotion. The program is evaluated with score 5 by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – CAPES) and the training process qualifies masters and PhDs with appropriate preparation for the construction of new knowledge to subsidize the nurse’s role in teaching, researching and caretaking with the aim of improving the population’s health conditions.
