Integrated Dentistry Graduate Program

The Integrated Dentistry Graduate Program (Programa de Pós Graduação em Odontologia Integrada - PGO) of the State University of Maringá was created in 2008. The first triennial evaluation from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – CAPES) was carried out in the period of 2010-2012, and the program received score 4, which contributed to creation of the Doctoral Program in 2015. In the second evaluation (2013-2016), the program maintained the same score. The graduate profile that the program intends to train is that of a professor and researcher in Integrated Dentistry with contemporary content, skills and competences to act in the training of qualified and resolute dentists, considering the current health system in the country. The professional is expected to show the ability to systematize knowledge and research by using methods and techniques of technological or artistic scientific research and innovation.
