Physiological Sciences Graduate Program

The research areas of the Physiological Sciences Graduate Program (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Fisiológicas - PFS) enable the learning of diverse and convergent methods and techniques that assist in the elaboration and elucidation of research hypotheses in the area of biological sciences. It develops the necessary experimental skills and critical sense for scientific production and to act in teaching and research. It integrates theoretical knowledge of physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology and histology and respective experimental tools applicable to the comprehension of the human organism functions, therefore contributing to the expansion and strengthening of scientific work in this field of knowledge. The Program has a score 3 according to the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).
