Master’s Program and Doctoral Program
Graded 6 by Capes (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel), the Chemistry Graduate Program (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Química - PQU) has 31 professors who can act as advisors, acting in 12 different research lines. In the master's program, the graduate student must obtain 14 credits in six regular subjects and eight elective ones. The deadline to complete the program is 24 months. In the doctoral program, the graduate student must obtain 28 credits, six of which in mandatory subjects and 22 in elective ones, completing the program within 48 months at most. The Program offers scholarships from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) and Araucaria Foundation (Fundação Araucária).
