Physical Education Graduate Program - National Network

The Physical Education Professional Master’s at National Level (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Física em Rede Nacional – ProEF) is an in-person course, available in the hybrid model in national territory, conducted by a net of Higher Education Institutions formed in the context of the Professional Master’s program for Elementary Education Teachers (Programa de Mestrado Profissional para Professores da Educação Básica – ProEB), which is part of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior). The ProEF’s proposal gathers experienced researchers in the required specialties in the concentration area of Physical Education, clearly compromised with the in-service continuous development of Elementary School Physical Education teachers. The targeted ProEF students are those who were undergraduates in Physical Education with Teaching License, and who are now teaching in public elementary schools. They are teachers who work in different levels of education and seek scientific-technical knowledge in order to enhance their professional practice. When facing the needs of an equitable and democratic education, with specific qualification demands, the ProEF has teachers who are interested in deepening knowledge that can have an innovative and contextualized impact wherever they teach.
